Its being keeping inside so long that i am not least comfortable about it.

Day in day out esp with my current situation i tend to think of this more.

Which is that it is my greatest regret I am married with my hus.
He can be a happier person if he isnt married with me.

Without me he can prbably..

keep on his passion of going many fishing trips with his kakis that was planned this year.

spend a great deal of time with his audioz, monifying it like he used to do that every month, but i can hardly hear him talking about modifications for sometime..

had a great savings to a substantial amount but he probably now penniless as he had strongly insisted of paying every single cent on our wedding ,this comfortable love-nest and those hefty monthly installment as long as he can afford from his monthly pay

dont have to cope with my explosive temper from time to time cos i have this tendency of losing it without any valid reason.I had one terrible day which i cant control myself , i was screaming and crying out loud which collasped at a corner and after i had an attempt to grap things up and start smashing (He was there holding me tightly in his arms cos i probably made him scare thinking i might lost my sanity anytime)..almost to the point of becoming a ticking bomb.

for all the above.. he has sacrified and becos we became husband and wife.

I felt terrible for all these things at the same time I am thankful i have met him as there wont be another man out there probably able to stand by me as much as he is.

I am absolutely imperfect however he can accept me for the way i am.

Just want him to know that i love him as much as he loves me.

Pregnancy week 29 : He seems to respond

Little one getting very responsive at his stage of time. He can literally stretch himself inside me and I could see how my tummy got distorted when he moves inconsiderately. =) I guess he is getting too little space far down and trying to get himself comfortable. Hee. Stimes when i got a pop out bump i wil actually pressed a little to test his responses. And indeed, he wil retreat back and protuded his little arm or leg on the other side. I like the way how he react with me and when he is out of this world we will have a great bond like right now. Whenever Im at home , i wil utter to myself (To him of course) and make conversation cos I know for sure he can understand whenever I say.

Right now at pregnancy week 29, I felt the pressure of " Whats gonna be my confinement period going to be like?" Indeed that engaging one confinement lady is no joke, it is at the market rate of $2 - 2.2k for 28days. Which on the same mth, I nid to worry abt hospital bills , Jabs for bb etc. How I wish that someone can offer helps to take care of me during that 1st mth and left me worry only on the 2nd mth. They say tat confinement period is critical as my recuperate period starts then. If i were unable to cope and suffered from post-natal depression, on the serious case I might lose my mind. Gosh.

I desperately need a fairygod mother.. so that i can make a simple wish of.... Can I engage a cheaper confinement lady but having the same job done as those $2.2k?

I have been quite eager to share in the baby's fluttering, it somehow connected to me everyday but making a physical connection with Hus with baby means real a big deal to me.

And finally last night , it happened.

I could alwz feel the baby being real active before bed so I motioned hus over and placed his hand on my abdomen. And it caught us both offguard , our baby gave him a big hefty kick :)

Hus smiled.

Hee, can you feel it? He's moving.

Yah, he did.. i wonder why is he so active at night

Dont know.. he is just superbly hyperactive at noons as well.

Its really some thing that the man dont have it and we,mothers will experienced it.

Its a great joy to feel baby moving inside me,sometimes it just makes me laugh to myself how human make human. :)

Its Tea-time!

Previously I was searching high and low for this newly launched biscuit cos there was a content that u stand to win a prize. Apparently when the content has ended, still findin it in vain.Obviously, it a norm that whenever you have literally stop looking for it.

It A-P-P-E-A-R-S.

Thought it is just some so so taste biscuits but never know that i like-in it. You should go try it out. Especially Queen of tibits. Haha.. You know who u are. Its nice leh.

Little more updates from Hus yesterday.

Lights delivery was supposed to be yesterday 4-6pm. But he wants them to come at a specific time in order not to waste 2hrs just "WAITING". So... He called up and asked them " 4 to 6pm, so what time will that be?" Stupid salesman says that it will be most likely in between that hour so its 5. Thinking he can make use of his time and come fetch me from work, he asked for delivery to come at 6instead.

Salesman: " Cannot lah delivery man knock off at 6 one"

Hus : "Ok, then wat time , pls be specific"

SM : " 5.15 to 5.45pm"

H : "Then come at 6pm lah, I got appt to rush , whats the difference of 15mins?"

SM: " I will make it earlier and not later than 5.45pm" with super guai lan attitude.

H: " I dont get it, I also have delivery man under my care, so whats the big deal of asking him to come later at 6pm?!!"

SM : " Then why not u come and collect tmr?"

H: " If its tmr right, I will go down tmr to your shop and ask for monie back in full, dont argue so much and bargin for time, I am your customer, I want wat time means wat time" and hangs up.

In the end.........Hus didnt pick me up....

The delivery was made at 6.10pm . FAINT.

Hus called up and quarrel for another round.

H: "hello.. now is 6.10pm liao , where is yr man? i asked for 6pm you said cant be arrange and now at 6.10pm yr delivery isnt here, isnt it the same time which i asked for at the very beginning"

SM : "wait wait i called my man"

H : (ON FIRE)

SM: "he is right down your block alrdy"

H : Slam the call.

Poor delivery man carrys bunches of light from 11th floor to 9th.. and after delivery, he wants the remaining balance of $40 to be paid.

Deliveryman: " Done. So left $40 balance"

H : " Right now, you see these lights right? and invoice has indication right?.. match my items before I pay."

DM: "huh.. i am a deliveryman leh, i no-no one."

H: "Dont know? Can. Then ask someone to come which know how to stock take and I will pay for this remaining $40."

DM: " cannot lah boss , cannot"

H: " called yr boss to tell him, otherwise u can go now"

DM : In dilemma, called upon the same SM and passed the phone to hus

SM: " Hello boss, yr $ 40 stil haven pay and my man really dont know how to match items againt invoice"

Hus : " Then ask someone to come and match for me otherwise if missing an item how i know after i paid?"

SM: " Hai ya, then i wil ask another man to do the delivery tmr mng, i will collect these back"

Hus: " Take lor"

Phone was passed to DM and SM asked him to collect lights back and do it by another one tmr.

DM so reluntant and complained to SM, ended up lights are remain in love nest. And he left without collecting balances.

Super drama....

Anyway, we both have come to a conclusion that $ 40 will not be paid to them. DON'T CARE.

Okay.. cut away from stupid story. Here little update again.

Kitchen

Kitchen done. Grey greys.. look like cement from this point. Feela kind of dark man. Shouldnt go for this colour...Kitchen so dark.. makes it like dirty dirty.. should have done for creamy colours.
Hmmm..

Common Bathroom

Common bathroom also grey....I think for toilet it is wiser to opt for dark one..otherwise it is so hard to maintain but to wash it weekly to keep it clean. I just scrubbed my current stay-in hse. It is really a pain for me to bend down and scrub the tiles. My back aches like siao due to the weight I am carrying my little one. It is no joke for pregnancy lady to do chores. SO. SPARE ME PLEASE.

Doors for all 3 bedroomz

My new doors installed. FOC from ID. Cannot complain much coz its free. Unless gonna top up to solid doors. Which cost us $ 100 - $ 150 each and that will be $ 300-450 top up for all the rooms. Erm... think I still chose FOC ones to be on the cost saving side. Its painted to dark brown colour, I think actually should remain white or grey in order not to look orbi.. too bad.. painted liaoz. Hope it is not that bad lah...

Living Room

Here's living room. Tiles after chemical washed once. so far so good. Dont know about workmanship yet. So two besties are assigned to help me inspect. They will definitely do a great job with that magnifying glasses around. =) and besides , over a decade of frens.. they will know what kind of things I will pick on. Hee.

Yippie!

Love nest has the look liao. Laminate flooring was done and rooms painted with our desire colours.

BB room is painted light colour. Suppose to be my favourite apple green but after much consideration, I think 'see below' still signifies more for little one. I wanna paint white clouds and duck on the wall leh.. but dont know how. I think I will get some pictures to be put up and start to load baby's possession soon.

Air-con fixed liao too. Fast and furious Electrician Xiong helped us installed.

Bad owner I am .. i didnt go up my love nest to witness all the transformations that are in-progress right now. However, I still insist to Hus that whenever he went up for a quick check. He has to update me with something, literally something.

Pictures helped me to explain the progress to you people.

This is the entrance of our living hall.

This is the area whereby Tv console will be place and downlight above.
Previous owner got the wall painted Pink.. can see?

This is the kitchen area. I will have my L-shaped cabinet right here. Supposely, ID's contractor were to plaster this wall and just merely paint. They accidentally hack walltiles as well. I am on the advantage side Hee, bec hacking need another hacking fee, so now its F.O.C ~

MBR Toilet. Suppose to be chio chio cos I chosen Q a "artistic" tiles to create that special feel. But it doesnt look like the one I took ( see below pic) , which "wow" me lor. Different way of creating the effects... its not bring out lor.. and i paid for extra just to have the tiles I want.

Kinda let down.

Do you think I should voice out? Its already finishing... kinda hard to say anything and besides, I CANT go up to see the real stuff. How?

Renovation : Selection of Basin for MBR

We finally gotten dining light for our dinning area. To our own surprise, we didnt choose something that we "wow" upon like those previously I posted on lightnings.

Went back to Ideal House for selection of laminate floorings and briefly re-confirm the structure of our warobe cabinet and paint colours last sat. And again, we waiting for another 30-40mins for that " alwz-never-on-time" interior designer. Would say I give up on her and expected she wil delay our appt. Whatever. As long as she get my house done nicely, I dont give a damn of her service. Went next door to spare her time with her clients and moment we walked in, looked at whats available at the light house. Set,buy and do. Wala...Done deal.

Nothing fantastic but settle for a relatively good price of $250 for dinning light. Lazy liao, dont wan to think so much. Now we have a concern on MBR's basin. Previously, hus wants something in a bowl form and BLACK. Cos he commented tat solid-surface will be white hence nid a contrast. Opted for Blackie basin, but i kinda like the resort style that is pui pui round round de.

This is the last 1 pc of accessory to fret for for toilet. Can anyone send me your comments?

Oval option, its longer and deeper in depth, but seems not classy .. I dont know..

This is more of my likings cos its more resort style, but hus concern will be it is less in depth and might splash water when freshening up.

Pre-natal blue

Boohoo!

I think I am suffering from pre-natal blue.
I had a dream last time that little one popped out earlier than expected. I was thrilled to see him cute and chubby, but to my surprise I didnt even had a single milk bottle for him !
Ended up breast-feeding and it turned out a mess. -_-"

Gosh, think i am feeling guilty abt not preparing his arrival like buying him new clothes and toys yet. Which I seen forums and bloggers that were now expecting bought tons of stuff for the little one.

On the bright note, I have $300 Robinson voucher on hand to start with.

May frens out there.. this year's sherlynn's birthday dont hv to buy anything for me k. Too old to have birthday pressie.. Buy for my little one, be it gu-ni-hoon or diapers, practical can liaoz. Thanks ah..... its rude to ask for presents but then again.. its practical lah..

Renovation : Selection of light for S&J's love-nest

For recently weeks, have being running around to look for bathroom accessories and lightings for the love nest. Boy, it is not easy. I am totally constraint by the amount we have on-hand.

Just one dinning table lightings, we are spoilt with choices. We went places like IMM, Balestier, Jalan besar, ulu bedok north, kitchener road , marsillings.. we see like all kinds of shape and sizes.Square, circular ones, rectangular, big and small ones, whats attractive will be those with crystals, but looking at the zero zeros on the price tags.. haha my pocket going zero as well. They itself has its own beauty.

Hus and I have just 8 down-lights, 1 small downlight at the vanity top, 2spot lights, 1 normal ones for two common guestroom, 2 at toilets,kitchens and two major investment at MBR and dinning areas.But we just cant make up our mind which to go to.

Here are the ones we recently KIV.

This cost about $ 470 after discount. It looks not bad but kinda too simple apart alotsa crystals lah, it blinks blinks.

This is my favourite dinning light to KIV ,hus and I saw this from various places, seems that this is commonly carried by these lighting shops. Price various from shop to shop. It was seen at Kleen for $589, after discount $520.

Then went to another one that quoted $ 480 then $ 430 and lastly after negotiation it is as low as $350.

Hus's favourite. Has three switches that changes the colours of lights, from LED then to warm light and white and/or 3 at one go. Quite chioz but ex. $ 780 going at $580 last price.

I dont know how much is this. Cos it look ugly,hee. just took a pic of it.

Tada! this is my MBR main light. Looking at the picture you simply cant see the glitters on the fabric, but i guaranette it look extremely chioest when u come to my hse and take a look.

1st quote was $300 then goes to $280 and down to $250. so-called frenship price. Like real.

This is a real beauty, and as far as i know it should be the latest design coz previously all light emphasize on crystals- sawaraski or belgium kind of crystals but right now it is this one (WITH Mercury hang hangs ) that are in trend. This alone cost 800-900 if ID were to bring their clients, but as far as concern, owner can sell us a frenship price from 589 to 550 and last quote was 500nett.

Saw this at Palace of lights 302 balestier Road. I bought my down-lights there at $16. Bestie ah ly recommended. I think it is dirt-cheap as compared to the rest we went. Damage there is about $1k. Haven have our last buy of Dinning light. KIV when i strike 4D in the coming weeks. =

Same one but in rectangle shape. More ideal for dinning area, but it is $100 more than the prev one. Super broke if to go for this.

Pregnancy week : 23 Slow life movement

I cant explain it at many times if is little boyie moving or kicking me..but definitely I am feeling his movements ard that little space of his.

Hearsay that classical music is good for yet born babies. Asking Hus to find some musicy to test out and surprisingly, litte boyie seems to response!

I will alwz tap my growing tummy and whisper things like " Hey bb~.. wat are you doing? Kick kick mummy.."

He will responses like sec later.. haa...

There was once I asked hus to talk to boyie but he placed his face over my tummie to listen. He gotten a kick/nudge from the little one, Hus was startled.Both of us laughed out loud for that funnie moment and felt it is indeed amazing that human grow human.

Even writing this entry, this little one is moving about inside me..
He is definitely my joy boy and all I wish is that he is growing strong and well...

I am not taking great care of myself as I dont take tonics or nourish stuffs. I was brought up in such a manner mah.. not educated in some sense. Nevertheless, I will take less coldy drinks,no raw food, less caffine ( Kopi-holic me leh) and eat as heathly as possible..

Pregnancy week 20 : Baby's development

By 20 weeks, the top of the uterus is at the belly button. The baby weighs about 300 grams (10.6 ounces) and about 16 cm (6.5 inches) long, and is covered in a fine hair called lanugo. Fingerprints are developing as well as permanent teeth buds behind the baby teeth that are already formed. Gender is usually visible through ultrasound by now. The baby can suck a thumb, yawn, stretch, and make faces. You may be able to feel your baby move, which is called "quickening." Loud noises may even cause your baby to startle.

So cute...

During my last checkup, my bb weighs about 302grams. which is pretty align with normal progressment though i have not put more much weigh, yet. Besties are saying my tummy grows bigger and which is rightfully this way and I am contented with my current progressment.

God bless that I was quite an active person before expecting, guess that ease me from feeling tired and legathic. I would encourage frens whom want to conceive to build up the body, by eating nutrious food and regular exercise to strength the body. And I hope I will receive pieces of news that any of my fren is expecting..so that my baby boy has company ! Waiting for u all ya... =)

Announcement to make

Its time for me to make an important announcement.

Perhaps there are some nosey people around but I alwz feel there are people especially my loved ones whom has the truest and sincere concern of me.

Indeed my wedding is kind of short notice. But I am absolutely glad it happens. Man of my life was all along there, but I am just too stubborn to admit the fact that everyone is imprefect. I wish to do all sorts of things before I turn old and wanna grasps what is so-called my time to compensate those years which i wasted with my previous bf. I dint notice his cares and dint realise his presence.

What to say. He is nice and patient on me. I would not ask for more but basically be the woman of his too and be a less-hot-tempered wife. =)

Gladly things had finally true out well for me and it looks like dark clouds finally moved away.
Right now,NEW phase of sherlynn's life.

Back to my main point of this blog entry.

Sherlynn right now cannot go on to attempt dangerous or agressive sports. She missed her iving trip this year however in return... I have a new JOY in my life.

Yes. I AM PREGNANT.

I am going to be a mother real soon at good age of 27. My family and my hus's are superly happy but both besties are ones that are excited all over for me. Ever since Day 1 , I am receiving alot of attentions from everyone and even bestie's hus hada total change of attitude towards me. ( He alwz suan me one mah, now is a 360 degree change and he cares to bring me a chair while i dont need one lor).

Sorry for the lacking of posts.. seriously I was very busy with my wedding preparations..finally.. everything had being smooth. And here goes my next phase of journey - Marriage life

People have be asking me :" How u feel about marriage life

I was stucked with this question. How I feel? I,personally thought it should be the same as what we were in the past perhaps equally same, also, what I imagined how two life has become one shouldnt be very much difference from how I spend my time with my partner previously when we are as couples.

So my final answer to everyone is " Same leh"

Perhaps what surprises me will be..and also thinking to myself with whoever askes me this qns would be " Dont tell me u dont know your partner well meh? after marriage will be drastically difference meh?"

Well.. thats individual i guess. Cos some couples dont stay overnites at partner's hse, so the tendency of knowing " your partner's habit" becomes a NEW change.

Here is my 1st recommended goody goody nice food if u are a curry, can-take-spicy-stuff person.

Amazingly, I am now a person that can eat chilli padi with my food. Previously, i just drip the soyabean with chilli thats all. I think I can fight with my silver years bestie 40 now. =D

**咖喱鱼头**

I am not a fish lover sad to say, but I indeed like the gravy alot and it has alot alot alot of "Dao ji" given to u and u can add it into the gravy and soften it.... My guy is a "dai ji" lover though. So he highly recommend this if u are a lover of beancurd skin

2nd recommendation

** Bah Ku Teh**

Left pic - Soupy kind . This KL Bah ku teh isnt like Singapore's peppery soup based, it is gravy-based and with alot alot of dao ki again =D. And they usually have it with lean meat... I think wist meat which is very tender than singapore will be pork ribs that are of little meat. On the Right pic - this is dried kind. i personally like this! most cos it is cooked with dired chilli,dried cuttlefish,lady's finger and lean pork meat with dark sweet sauce. *Slurp!*

I like this the most most most most most lah! Missed it missed it missed... Thinking to franchise to Singapore some more.. hahahaha..

Pictures taken outside the shop..it was previously a side hawker and has prosperous to a big shop. =)

The boss in fact is indeed the one on this menu and in the shop walking around man.. the guys patronize this shop ever since they are in secondary days.. The boss knows them well wor..

排骨 - You cannot imagine HOW INCREDIBLY nice is this freaking plate of pork ribs lor. It is tender and freaking juicy and the sauce it is something i wil die for man...MUST TRY LAH Girls...I promised to bring u to eat this when its August. My favourite leh...
Roasted Chicken - I guess this can be found in Singapore but it has this own local tasted kind of feel. I swear it is slightly ~ diff from our side.. I like roasted than hainanese one though..
Meat-balls - Keke I seldom find this in the hawker but perhaps my auntie cooks it everynow and then..its meaty meaty big big balls.
Curry Chicken - Gravy is tough and chicky is tender. The guys like it man ~ Slurp
Mr Bruce Lee - We giao him up to have breakfast with us ( side note - all these are taken in the morning cos this is their style - dont ask me why, they just take heavy meals in the morning which is their culture loh)
Mr Levy Tan aka Mr ONZ man - He is alwz there for us whenever we summon him. Last to call first to arrive. Whereas Bruce is the opposite. Hee.

Final gown fitting

Yday went for my final gown fitting to select one lasr round for my wedding gown.

Damn.. many times went to Julia and keep forgetting of taking some pictures back..* boo*

Suppose to pick one of the gown to try on as I missed it out as it was sent for dry-cleaning and was wore by some Taiwan celebrity " Wang Ren Fu's wife Ji Qin"..

Oh boy .. it was taken up on my actual day.. And I didnt get to wear it neither last night.

So many things to do, so little time left.

There were many hiccups during these period.Quite disappointing. However, to look deeper into the whole picture it isnt that bad, to be honest it was quite a smooth-sailing path when come to selection of venue,bridalshop,getting enough JM and of yday's food tasting.

Some good some bad. However, I am easily contented with nothing exaggerating , boils down to simple and basics. Leave me no headaches.

Everything like a breezes.

In another 23days is my big day. And all efforts will be rewarded with a Happy Wedding Day.

Recently I am pretty tied up. Apart from work, all my time just goes "whoosh" just like that.

Many things to prepare, many things to liaise and co-ordinate... I guess I cant do much if it is just me alone without my besties around.

Especially shilin and lyana.

Its a bless to have them around. They touched my heart with their gesture in helping me, provide me advise, links,contacts and their presences.

How would I survive this well without them leh?

My First Aquathlon - Mini Race

Its being 37days ago I did my 1st attempt for aquathlon. The experience was simply descriptable and mainly satisfication overwhelmed me.

am thankful that a guyfren of mine encourage me to go for it. If it isnt him, I would not know if I ever will have the motivation to pursue for one.

Crazy but eventful weekend

Oh gosh. I am having this lazy-to-go-to work monday bluez today. Partly becoz I had tired myself out these 2days with activities. Not a moment of rest right after i stepped out of the house. This is crazy.My only rest day are both saturday & sunday however it goes like this (below) how I ended up not-resting. -_-"

My Saturday

Morning 8.30am I am already out for my swim lesson. I was late and rushing like mad coz my instructor was already there waiting for me 20mins. Freshen up,dressed & packed my barangs out of hse in 10mins & literally fly to swimming complex by 8.40am.

No warm-ups, down I went and swam 4laps only arms,4laps only legs,8laps continous swim & 2laps again after corrections of arms strokes. She left me for her next lesson at woodlands which i continued to swim another 45mins by myself. I didnt do well as what she expect me to be.. but I need to constantly tell myself. I need to buck up gradually. Be it for the upcoming races or for self improvement.

Had a relatively late lunch at 11am & fly back hm, unpacked, repacked & rushed down to ECP for a trial of what will it be like for SWIM + RUN kinda race.

Swam for 4X200m in the sea. (It is very straining to be in the strong current whereby you are like swimming in a washing machine.) VERY-THE-TIRED can~

Sherlynn died after that but forced to go another 10km run right after. Dragging my legs liao when I ran. Legs were going on and on and on.. right after 8++km, I gave up. Told myself I am not gg to push myself any further & get suffered from injuries whereby I am not able to train in upcoming 2weeks before race I die in front of u ah!
Hence I walked 2km or so and rest with a freezing 100plus + chocolate milk . Boy am I satifised. =D

Training ended 4+pm,reached hm 5+pm, den rushing to 40 hse for a mini gathering, gambled Black-Jack and lost $20 in 1st 3 rounds being the j-ng gay , tong remaining nite with that $3-4 until I defeated completely until time to say goodbye which is closed to Mid-night.

Following day My Sunday

9.30am out for breakfast. 10plus went Library to borrow some sports magazinez to enrich myself coz I am a sports-know-nothing person.Met a lunatic woman , making a scene in the library (not time to kaypo what happened) then make my way to AMK to buy some toiletries & skincare, had quick lunch and catcha big hoo-haa " The curse of benjamin button " show. Its 2hrs 45mins ya. Would say I had a high expectation of that movies becoz prev nite, Kel & ah ly given fabulous comments abt it. So it like a I-MUST-GO-MOVIE. Never I will come out thinking.. " Hm.. okay lah" But I would comment that I am indeed impressed with the effects of what they do to make both Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett to be this incredibly young and flawless skin. Which in fact both has reached their 40s in real-life.

Making a slot for 40mins foot ($20)& 20mins shoulder massage($16) which is dirt cheap compared to regular prices out there 10mins later I am hungrily digging famous white bee hoon at sembawang liao.. Slurp~~~~~~~~~~~~.

Its like 9.30pm I realised I need to pay a visit at the temple cos this year dog "fan" tai shui.. cheong to nearest temple in Yishun & done for the day.

So am I very-the-tired?

I am going to catch this movies real soon..felt that this is a movie that everyone will goes " Nice,awesome,fantastic" kinda of comments.

Not sure when will I have the time to catch it and who to go with becos I have various party that jioed me.

Last movie I went was InkHeart (With Aileen & Gary) during the eve of CNY's eve. Well..yawning during the entire show. Not Nice. Prior to that was Red Cliff 2. Its nice thou however personally I feel that it is not as exciting than Red Cliff. Probably expectation was higher hence the acticipation presented.

This Saturday I am going to ECP for a trial to swim in the sea + run right after that. Surely faint.

Recently have this sweet tooth problem.

Everyday i am popping chocolates non-stop.
-After breakfast

-After Dinner

Was told I had extra "fats" on my arms and thighs. Nbz.
I am FAT liao. And I have an IMPORTANT WEDDING TO ATTEND NEXT SAT!
Need to shed those fats around those areas.

Recuperating

Yeah, Im back. After much rests in order not to over exert my right leg, i went for a brisk jog last nite.

Amazingly, it was a great one without panting like a dog & it lasted abt 30mins which is 5km around my estate. But things starts to changed right after that click of 5. I can interally feel my injured right leg starts to complain to me. That tiny winey bit of strain. Argh.

I mustn't over-run like last time and will obediently listen to my body when it starts to show signs. Oh well, it is definitely not a good feeling that u know u cant perform as well as compared in the past & restrict here & there.

Quite sad, but I think I am going to live with it somehow.

GE Run 2008

Yes. It is the GE Run again. This time round I am not alone, in fact I've buddies ( 40 & kel ) went along. *Grin* Its a pity thou Ah ly isnt ard to run along with us , which I hope the upcoming one in 2009 3 of us will be able to go as a team plus kel and min too.

I really want to say it is a one hell of an experience. It was bad cos golden years bestie not there, there was an unexpected overslept encounter ( Yah, 40 &kel knows it), got a pretty bad timing for this race, but oh well, the good side of it is that I managed to complete the race (10km of cos), I had a fun time, it is a brand new experience which i believe there will be many many more coming up and I saw my idol ! hahaha... one female high-profile sportswoman that is sooo cute in person. It was a heavy downpour on Sat, cant go jogging and other where else to spend National Day or seeing the fireworks. Golden years freny just touched down the day b4 from BKK and Silver freny went to 'gong teck".

In the end.. relax relax til silver freny jioed for a simple dinner. Kaka... finally an "event". So, I onz her immediately to our childhood times highly patronized kopitiam to eat that " Ah Huat mee hoon kway"

Gathered at the kopitiam, we ordered "Ah huat" at the same time listen to golden freny's 1st time business trip experiences. After much chit chat and lingers with the topic of Beijing Olympics grand opening ceremony..I suddenly wanted to watchie a movie! Battling between "The Mummy 3" and "Batman", golden frenie insisted I shd go for Batman~ she find it awesome and she,herself awarded one of the best movies of 2008 so far.. Hmm...

After 2hrs and 40mins...........A-W-E-S-O-M-E 的 lor~

Last week, 40 being the nice gal remembered my request to chillout at Timbre.
After much efforts and consent that it was decided to be arrange as a girl's night. Amazingly,all of us turned up!

Conversation on that gathering was updates of ea other life,work,bfs,spouses,houses,weddings.
Thats pretty cool actually. Realising the fact that 5 fine ladies do stays in constant contacts every since secondary,walking into social life and now viola~ adulthood,settling down.

One thought actually pops out of my mind and passed a remark.

Pretty enjoy the show as it talks abt generally nothing but stories of ppl coming from all walks of life pursuing feature perfect by engaging plastic surgery svcs.Nowadays it is indeed very popular for ppl to get their nose bridge higher,breast enhancements,getting a prominent dbl eyelid etc etc.

I personally dont kinda like that espisode on Felicia Chin which she acted as an up coming singer called Cherry. Undergoes plastic surgery before being able to finally meet the public in person. Nothing special and meaning towards this topic .Female celebrities mah, suppose to look pleasant, presentable,chio or having devislish figure or else who will actually notice this body?

Side track: I dont find felicia chin's acting is of any fantastic. =

Ifeel for celebrity to undergo PS is pretty fine. =) who will want to see an old and haggard lady in tv shows man....tio bo? But of cuz, if they are a born-beauty that will be great.

I pretty like Wed's espisode regards Thomas Ong aka Alex Tan having illegimate child. That little girl Coco is very good at her acting. She cried for not knowing why her father dislikes her and she made a Happy Father's Day Card for him having a post-it note written "Uncle" to hide the actual writing of Papa on card cover. Ikinda teared cuz I was touched when I watcha this scene =~(

Last Friday, as mentioned went for a BIG poly-gatherings. About 14pax of us turned up.14 may nt be big number but personally ifeel that it is the efforts of forteen that counts and refreshed the memories of good old days in Poly.

Most of my buddies are married. Brought their spouses together. In a split sec, I felt I am old.
= ( Just a blink of an eye, everyone has a love nest of their own.Well, I still like the freedom of not getting married and have many things in mind to strive for.

Hence, Life is a wonderful journey. We all should enjoy and treasure every moment.

Anyway, went to Shokudo last Friday. Reviews seems good on this place and I can tell u, it is R-E-A-L-L-Y flooded with ppl, can u imagined that we Q like 1hr 30mins to eat

Unagi Fried Rice - See the Unagi piece? So pathetic.. merely one bite and it is gone! Nice lah but can try other dishes instead of this.

Green Tea Ice-cream & Red Bean Crepe - Slurp slurp ! Very nice!

There is this Chocolate & banana crepe as well. The outlook abit looks like shit on the crepe but the taste is damn awesome than the one I had. Hence, dont judge by the slimy ingredients on top. Must eat too!

Miraclely I went for a quick jog in the morning today!
6.15am rush out and backie at 7am.

It seems that I perspire more in the morning session than evening.
Surprise.. hmm.

But the feeling is great to wakie up for a short and fulfilling one especially I know I wont be doing any exercise for the entire week.

Within less than 48hrs, it is M-I-N-E ~~ HAHA~!

Haha.. nothing in particular again. Just wan to comment that I am able to Sq-u-e-e-z-e~ into my jeans again with no difficulties. Keke.. it is fitting just right than previously that " I can hardly get in" kind of feel.

Coz I have being (trying) to jog and swim (alittle) to shed that tiny fats away just get into shape.
So far this is working.

And of coz, I do nid to work extra hard in order to get into that toned limbs back.

Shame on me. My driving licence which I obtained 5yrs ago really goes down to drain.
I hardly can drive man.

Last night, ah kor actually phoned me up to inform me he & jac will be away for 5days as both of them will be away to Ipoh for retreat with his Nav frens. So~ being the nicey bro bro.. he offers his vehicle to me so that I can utilize fully while he is away. Golden opportunity to drive!
Well, thinking to myself that driving manual isnt 'really' that difficult, just that co-ordinating skill must be tor-kong..so i took up the challenge and offers to drive while he sits right beside me to monitor if i am fit to go out on road.

I even happily goes to the pertol station to buy a P-plate immediately loR.

Teh Teh Teh !!!! I simply forgotten all the proper technic to drive a manual car. 1st gear to 2nd gear.. jerk like hell.. when to change from upper gear to lower also blurz. Simply kena honk many times and kena overtake... =(

I suckz big time.

Well,stimes when u have nothing better to do abt yrself.. i think the best thing is to have some retail theraphy and some makeover to perk one up.

I have so far... I feel this week for me is good!

Done up my eyebrow on 2days ago.. it is very pain lor and I find it werid to have browy eyebrows.. assured by my beautician.. it will turn natural after couple of days.. better be dark grey like my previous one.. or else I wil called up and ask them re-do... very auntie looking if it stays browny lor.

New brows and new hairdo....Nice?

My mind wasnt focused. I never feel for my legs nor watch out on proper breathings, not constantingly ensuring a momentum of the run.Something is bothering me which i do not know what is it.

Finally I get my butt out for joggies to ECP last past Saturday. I must admit that jogging is really my favourite exercise as compare to swimming. When i am able to sweat it out, I feel good. When I feel good, I am happy. An amazing feeling that I bet anyone will be experiencing the same when he/she goes for any form of exercise would agrees with me.

However, the morning session isnt that ideal as I targetted to work on. Wanted to go for like 45mins jog which ended up for, 26mins. That is merely 5km if I am not wrong. Distance is carpark F1 to the MacDonalds. What a letdown. But I am really exhausted causes by the lack of sleep the night before.Well, If time,transport and ppl permits, I will want my every sat morning to be at ECP for jogs! and a long~ 1 to 2hrs breakfie at the cafe to enjoy ...........life~.

As for sunday, i would very much want to handle the chores at home and be lazy. And it would be nice if I can have a wonderful dinner with my family to round up the week. Keke.

Timbre on Wed

Call it concidence , I went to timbre again yesterday.

Guess what?

I lost my god-damn way . . . (-___-) ~ %^*$ (2nd time can~!)

It is definitely unforgettable that how I go there by foot. But the problem is that I went there by car this time.Going into CIRCLES again..stil unable to access the carpark of Timbre. Ended up, parked at Fort Canning Park and WALKED !!

Sweat lor... Hot and Humid weather like now just killed me. Aniw, Timbre at Wednesday still entertaining. No doubt the band on Fridays = 53A was absolutely funnier and singing was better in a sense. Nevertheless " The goodfellas" aint that bad overall.. So I simply enjoyed again. .

About Food: Dishes like " Chicken & Pineapple Kebahs" and "Pan-Fried Salmon Fillet" are highly recommended as portion of it is just right for small appetite lady. FYI.

Din manage to take pics at all as I realised my camera died on me.

MNC versus SME ?

Today will be my last day of job searching as most probably I will make a decision on which company to join by noon.

MNC or SME? In fact I am in a dilemma btw this two companies. There are pros & cons to be honest. One is too systematic and the other probably flexible in certain sense that seems no boundary and no guideline to work in it. Either you "make" it or fail it.

Believe it or not, my usual hang-out girls changed their jobs too. Talking about a group of 5, three of us changed. * grin *

Cool right... and probably during the next meet-up session we can probably update ea other on our status on the new environment.

Next week, I AM going to arrange a gathering with my long lost poly buddy. James
He is my companion , no. He is my ONLY companion during my poly times. We are alwz (up to 99.99 % of our times) together. We gossip,eat,study,swim,nuan together most of our time lor (except shitting nia). My 3 years in poly will never be this memorable til today without him.

Haiz.. I started to get tired of job searching already.. its being 2 weeks and stil in vain from what I want from my job/career searching.

I have declined one offer that is "already confirm to hire and start work" but based on the package they are offering it seems not attractive except it is located at YCK ...think over n over, there are probably many other options out there for me to explore. In the end, I rejected them. Else, I am working now then blogging lor.... -__-"

Well, stimes u just cant have the benefits of all. Either what u are looking for , the company have. They found other suitable candidates than YOU. What you are looking for, the company does not have the potential advancements, they want YOU. Or whats worse, wasting both parties time for interview sessions and end up, both dont wan each other. Very fan leh....

Last thursday was asked to go for a "Pyschometric Assessment".

Which require me to =>

Complete the following tests:
a) Aptitude Tests
- Numerical Reasoning = timed test (20mins)

- Abstract Reasoning = timed test (25mins)

- Verbal Reasoning = timed test (15mins)

b) Occupational Personality Questionnaire = Approximately 60 minutes un-timed

I looked at the email with bewildered eyes and became panicky cos I have never heard of this before. Nevertheless how freaky scare I am,I have to go and get it done. Else , I might not be possibility be employed / hire by them.

Wish me luck that I can passed thru this and being the candidate they want for their post.

Once again, its Chinese New Year. Guess everyone will be busy wif reunion dinner then visitings and gatherings and most of all gamblings!

Well, I am also busy but ! with work during this lunar new year. Chasing suppliersall over the place from US and Japan & M'sia just to ensure my materials will be delivered during these festive season & arrival on time the moment my company resume work.

Just wondering... this is the year of Rat .. not ox lei.. but i am working like an OX lor... -_____-" ( And whats worse, unappreciated~)

Aniw, today will b last day of chasing. I can relax just today and tmr then resume back to work~~!

Come to think of it, i think "my" new year just begin......

Back to the New Year....

Woah, surprisingly its a season for big gamblings , dai ti and blackjack. Saya no gambling at all lor. How sad !! But i think today shd have MJ from 11am to 3pm at Yingx2 plc. Thank god for the MJ program. Simply cant believe new year = no gamble. where's the mood?!

So ppl, pls gamble during this festive season..keke.. small bet also gamble.. =)

Gosh, new year also a time to eat,eat and just eat lor. 30 night, Chu 1 and 2, dinner is like so heavy one. But heck, i just love all the home-cooked food.. probably fat alittle.. weighed myself at Aunt's plc yday.. I am only 43.4 to 44.4kg.. there's room for more weight..but not at the thighs & hip pls..Bec I wanna fit into my jeans nicely..Saya me got a funnie body portion hence my jeans just that 1-2 pairs and i am wearing them for the rest of my life lydat.....

Ok, guess its time to go freshen up and proceed to Yingx2 plc and then next to my coll hse for visiting + hse-warming...

This is one of event done by my bro's gf ( Jac ). Swee bo?

She done all these this last Sunday.( with my bro and Matthew). Coincidentally, this wedding event is Ah Min's ! 40's ex-coll.

I personally like her style and have faith she will make it big next time. Right now, she is building up her portfolio, but in time to come she will have many many clients. Hee.

Was invited to my ex-coll ( Yingx2) baby's full mth.. Time realli flies..

One moment, I was her colleague at my 1st work place, then i moved on..turned into an ex-coll...then..I attended her wedding dinner at M hotel, went to her new house then saw her gone thru her pregnancy and now bb's full month!

This happy woman is now a mother of 1. Having one wonderfull hubby Ryan and mother-in-law (My mahjong kaki too..hehe)..And I encouraged her to have another one soon in order to catch up with pace. At least wanna shed those pounds,once and for all do it once !

Probably next to look forward will be XinYing's one year old birthday bash and another bb to come ! Hee.
